Derogatory: Above all else

Derogatory is an American death metal band that is just making its debut. Could have fooled me because these guys sound like mid 90s Cannibal Corpse. Does that rock your boat? Would you listen to an album released in 2013 that sounds like “Tomb of the mutilated”? If the answer is yes then Derogatory will meet your death metal needs. Unfortunately, even while worshiping at the altar of Cannibal Corpse, the riffs are not all that great or memorable. “Above all else” is derivative and ultimately quite forgettable.
4/10: Boring American death metal.
After going thru that crap, you most likely wanna read something way more interesting. You do, admit it.
